The forestry winch is quipped with a special disc brake system, safe and self-locking which does not require a manual action. The brake retains any weight at 100% in any working condition: the heavier the load the more the self-locking effect of the brake will increase. This system, called “Dead Man” guarantees maximum safety and complies with international safety standards. Leaving the clutch rope free (manual) the brake is activated automatically. The rope can always be easily unwound from the drum.
The forestry winch is attached to the remote control tool carrier RoboMAX through hydraulic screw couplings. It is the ideal tool in a forestry and mountain context, for cleaning open spaces or underwood from felled trees even on steep slopes up to 55°.
